What is Immunization?

Immunization (or vaccination) helps protect individuals from disease. A vaccine tricks the body into triggering its defence system to create antibody as if one has been exposed to a disease naturally. Vaccines against micro organisms that cause diseases can prepare the body's immune system, which helps to fight or prevent an infection.
